Why Raydar Matters
UV rays are invisible, but their effects aren’t. Overexposure to ultraviolet radiation silently damages your skin — increasing the risk of premature aging, sunburn, and skin cancer. Sunscreen helps, but only if it’s the right type, applied correctly, and reapplied on time.
Understanding UV
The sun emits UVA and UVB rays. UVA penetrates deep, accelerating aging, while UVB causes sunburn and directly damages skin cells. Both increase the risk of skin cancer. Yet most people underestimate daily exposure — even on cloudy days or in winter.
